RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) claim conservatives need to support the party nominee, usually a non-conservative. I agree - most any Repub is better than any Demo leftist. But when Indiana RINO Richard Lugar lost his Senate primary by a 60% - 40% vote, he refused to support the man who defeated him. Lugar was hurt by the fact that he hadn’t lived in Indiana since he sold his house in 1976 and moved to the D.C. suburbs. In fact, the Republican Party cut off funding for the nominee, walking away and forfeiting the seat to a liberal Democrat for six years, perhaps more. We’re supposed to support victorious liberal Republicans but they seldom reciprocate.
The party did the same in Missouri. Democrats took both seats so we’re stuck with Demo losers in both states. It’s rather difficult to take control of the Senate when you throw away winnable elections. No wonder the people refer to them as the Stupid Party. All Republicans running for Georgia’s open U.S. Senate seat are preferable to Michelle Nunn, a big-time leftwing loser. Ms. Nunn has been endorsed by Hanoi Jane Fonda and ultraliberal Emily’s List, which supports liberal women candidates. Back to liberal Republican Richard Lugar: He has donated several thousand dollars to Michelle Nunn’s Senate campaign.
