The City of Eastman has two major renovation projects underway. The restoration of the south end of east and west Main Street is a continuance of the first streetscape. When this project is completed, both sides of the downtown area of Main Street will be completely restored. The streetscape project is majority funded with a $400,000.00 grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation. The historic preservation of the old Greyhound bus station is also in motion.
