Gasoline is becoming “cheaper” supposedly, yet it is more than double what we used to pay not long ago. A new car averages over $30,000, up from 1990 prices of just over $16,000. I’m an old guy and can remember when a gallon was 30 cents. A fill up was about five dollars. I used to fill my tank (or the attendant did so) when I got paid on Friday.
