I am wondering are all these people under the first offender act? It seem to appear that everyone got probation. HMmm??

No room in prison, local jail, nowhere. None of those were really serious offenses anyway.

Does anyone want to make a guess as to how long it will be before they commit a crime again? Some probably have already. Charges of multiple counts of felony burglary sound like something warranting more than probation.

The older guy that was involved in the two murders in Eastman recently started out with burglaries. Check out his record with the state department of corrections. With that behind him when he was released early from his latest sentence, it was a foregone conclusion he would only do the same. Who, in their right mind would hire him, even if he wanted a job. Burglary, robbery, theft and the like, are serious offenses.

Whatever happened to Johnny Ashe's felony cases. Remember the law enforcement officer (game warden)that was arrested for beating his wife and pulling a gun on her? My guess is, give it another year or so and all will be forgotten and he will become a city cop.

7 FELONY convictions for burglary for an obvious burglary team and they get PROBATION?!?! That will show'em. You pointed your finger at them and waved it back and forth and said "now don't y'all do that again". I see Dodge County politics have not changed since the corrupt years of the 80's and 90's. And, yes, 20 years of law enforcement gives me the knowledge and understanding to say this is wrong.

Seems to me that you may be a little under educated. Try spelling words correctly, and someone may pay attention to your ridiculous posts.

Well, "Spoon", the focus of the comments started out here on the crimes committed and punishment handed out, until your attempt to stir the pot by bringing up race.

Lets back this up here...There ARE black people named in this article who in fact got only probation...just like the white folks. Take your anti white/black comments elsewhere. I also suggest that before you bring up the race card BS to make sure you have your story straight and don't make yourself look stupid.

My uncle was murdered in 1947 by some of the the best Eastman had to offer, He was then placed on the railroad tracks where a train could hit himand they could blame the train and nobody believed at any time it was the train. The police did not investgate and as far as I know never did try. I know that was a long time ago but it seems Eastman has not changed'

Good question. Go to the court house and get a copy of the court proceedings. It should be public record.
