With tax time here upon us, how appropriate to write this opinion on tax cheats and insidious manipulators who will use crafty loop holes without paying their fair share.
Wasn’t it then candidate Barrack Obama who was running for the presidency in 2007, espousing that the “top elitist, who make over five hundred thousand dollars a year pay up to 38% in taxes, while persons making less than two hundred fifty thousand a year, their taxes will not go up one
How words will come back to haunt you, or for some anyway!
Take Mr. Obama for example, here this character (Obama) talks on two sides of his mouth by pushing the tax code as campaigned on and then when it’s shown that he and his (“for the first time in my life, I’m proud of America” wife) jointly made just under seven hundred thousand dollars for 2012 and paid just under 17% in taxes back.
Well perhaps, when your own Internal Revenue Service (IRS) secretary Timothy Geithner, who was a proven tax cheat that you appointed for the bureau, would kind of look the other way in your devious scheming in not paying as you personally said “fair share” would kind of show good clairvoyance on your part there Mr. President in looking beyond.
But the real sad part of this fair tale world that your demographic voting block and their hallucinatory optimism is, that they believe in this whole sale insipid pabulum that you and your liberal party has put out.
When I see that part of the country on the news standing like mindless drones with spittle drooling down their face chanting “Obama, yes we can, Obama, more free stuff” and compounded with approximately seven million evangelicals who never voted last election, the United States of America that I grew up in is irrevocably lost and can never be retrieved as a moral nation.
You seven million Americans who sat on your backside in your Lazy Boy and didn’t vote, how is that chair feeling now?
A man who brought down this nation to its knees without firing a shot.
