To begin with we were all created as an original and we must not die a copy. That which is on the inside is more important that what’s on the outside. It doesn’t matter how you came into the world but how you live in it.
I will start out each day by saying, “Lord, whatever I start out to do each day, together you and I can accomplish.” I realize that I cannot be everything or please everyone, make everyone be my friend but I will strive to make no one my enemy. In my daily living failure may be an outcome but not an option.
My best freedom is not what I am free to do but what I am free not to do. I will never ask for happiness under a condition. I cannot choose how I will die but I can choose how I will live.
I will avoid doing something today that tomorrow I may hate myself for. I will not forget that the presence of our creator is the only thing that will heal a wounded nation. I am thankful that there has never been nor will there ever be another me.
At the close of each day this is what I say, “Lord whatever you are doing in this season please don’t let me forget about you. I will always be looking, listening for I do not want to miss what you are saying. It will always be in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit.”
May the Lord be with you and your spirit.
