Thoughts From The Right Side

“Please understand Nancy Pelosi. This crown jewel of liberal malfeasance actually believes that she is main stream Americana. From her perspective, voters are ravenous for CHANGE that will remake all of America into the image of San Francisco.”

It is time to take a stand
Dear Editor,
At the Eastman City Council meeting held on November 9, 2009, Buddy Pittman, of the Eastman City Council, made an attempt to provide for a local ethics ordinance to govern our locally elected city officials. Now, I would think that a fair and balanced government would be something that all people were in favor of supporting. [Full Story »]

Tired of the wrangling
Dear Editor,
Are you as tired of the wrangling in Washington as I am? This country is supposed to be for the people, by the people and of the people, yet the people are being completely ignored by this administration. Everything is what they want, not what we, the people, want or don’t want. To be completely frank about the health care situation, they are spending a lot of money to ram this down our throats and it is not constitutional. Nowhere in the Constitution does Congress, the president or anybody have the right to make us take out insurance. Nor does the Constitution give the government the right to go into the insurance business, the auto industry or the banking business. [Full Story »]

Final stages
Dear Editor,
This article is written to remind people of Dodge County about our enemies in the government controlled White House and the agenda Obama has to destroy America. It looks like he is working on the final stage of a total takeover of our country.
Barack Obama, sitting in the White House as if he were a legitimate president, is overseeing the transfer of wealth and power to the private banking elite, who are in the process of establishing world government. They are also in the process of completely obliterating the remaining freedoms. We have to protest, to resist or even speak out against this tyrannical agenda. Is this the final phase in creating one world government and smashing the remainder of our constitutional freedoms? [Full Story »]

Modern politicians believe they are god
Dear Editor,
When the final chapter of U.S. history is written, the question that will be left unanswered is how the last great experiment in human freedom was allowed to fail. Throughout recorded history there has never been a country as unique or as profoundly exceptional as the United States. [Full Story »]

Unbelievable
Dear Editor,
November 11 is a day set aside to celebrate and honor all veterans. We can thank our creator, for we are blessed to have been born in one of the greatest nations that have ever existed. I pray that we never forget that freedom has always come with a price. It’s almost devastating to see a nation so educated with so much wealth and yet for many years and have become such a divided nation. The lack of honesty, discipline and holding each other accountable for their actions is one of the main contributors. [Full Story »]

Propaganda is vital
Thoughts From The Right Side

No single insurance company made even five percent of what Medicare reportedly lost in fraud last year, says Weekly Standard writer Jeffrey H. Anderson. The tactic now seems to be: bash the insurance companies. The Obama health reform crowd will protect you from being plundered by the insurance industry, supposedly.
“So, the next time someone alleges that government-run health care is cheaper because of ‘lower administrative costs’ -- a truly preposterous claim on its surface -- these numbers would be good ones to have at the ready; $60 billion in annual Medicare fraud, $8 billion in combined annual profits for America’s ten largest insurance companies.”

Obama the graceless
A Little Common Sense
By Rich Lowry
Republicans needn’t trouble themselves to nominate a presidential candidate in 2012. No matter what, President Barack Obama will be running against George W. Bush.
Bush will be Obama’s eternal foil. At this rate, when Obama writes his post-presidential memoir, it will be titled “An Audacious Presidency, or How I Saved America From That Bastard Bush.” His presidential library will have a special fright-house wing devoted to Bush’s misrule. He will mutter in his senescence about 43, like the Ancient Mariner about his albatross.
Obama clearly wants Bush to be the Hoover to his FDR. Since his predecessor left office with a 34 percent job approval, Obama understandably feels moved to scorn and berate him. But Obama’s perpetual campaign against Bush is graceless, whiny and tin-eared. Must the leader of the free world -- if Obama still accepts that quaint formulation -- always reach for the convenient excuse? [Full Story »]

A wolf in sheep’s clothing
Editor,
Just recently, the Republican candidate Scozzafava in N.Y. State has withdrawn from the race after seeing her support dwindling. The Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman, who by the way is just a regular everyday citizen like us, had stepped into the race and started taking all the polls by storm. At last view, he was tied with the Democratic candidate at 35% with Scozzafava only taking 20%. Almost immediately, the RNC announced their support for Hoffman. [Full Story »]

A way to live.
Dear Editor,
The Holy Bible will teach us what we need to know as how to live, but I wonder if we realize that the God who created us has given us the power to not accept life the way it comes. Our job is not to make everyone love us but we are to love everyone. We must not let yesterday use up too much of today. Today is our tomorrow that we thought about yesterday. In planning for tomorrow, we must remember that there will always be some ups and downs in everyday living. The only three days that we can deal with are yesterday, today and tomorrow. We must remember that the decisions that we make on Monday can change by Wednesday because of what happens on Tuesday. [Full Story »]
