The 9-10 year old Boys All-Stars won first place in the Soperton All-Star tournament on Saturday May 29.

After a long day of baseball, Dodge defeated Telfair County in the championship game to bring home the first place trophy.

The seven and eight year old Dodge County All-Star team went to Soperton on Saturday, May 29 and came back with the championship.

Dodge County Middle School held its athletic awards program in the school gymnasium on Thursday, May 27.

Football awards were given to Romello Cummings, Mason Veal, Hunter Graham, Jamarius Black, Kelby Amerson, Zalen Floyd, Russell Fruitrail, Dalton Rogers, Josh Edwards, Cole Honeycutt, and Derick Rogers.

Soccer awards were given to Alex Alejos, Cole Honeycutt, Greg Pittman, and Luke Taylor. [Full Story »]

The 10U Macon Noise fast pitch softball team became the 2010 Spring Fling Champions.

Noise went undefeated in the USSSA tournament held in Conyers on Saturday, May 22, 2010.

Archery team competes in Kentucky

On May 7, 2010, the Dodge County Middle School Archery Team competed in Louisville, KY, at the National Archery in the Schools National Tournament.

There were 7,125 students registered for the event.

The DCMS team consists of twenty-four members, all of whom shot exceptionally well under the pressure of a competition at this magnitude.

The team score was determined by the top twelve shooters, four of whom must be females. [Full Story »]

The first Mick Pruett Make a Wish Foundation softball tournament will be held on June 19.2010 at the Southern Pines Softball Complex in Dublin.

Upper and lower class divisions are planned with the upper class having a four to seven homerun bid and the lower having a one to three homerun bid.

An entry fee of $250.00 will be collected with $500.00 paid to the first place teams in each division along with a trophy. [Full Story »]

The Dodge County Diamond Dawgs 10U baseball team recently won first place at the third annual Mad Batters Bash in Dublin, GA.

The Dodge County Wrestling program recently held its annual awards night to recognize the youth club, middle school team, high school team, and sponsors.

Held at the refurbished home of Dodge County Wrestling at the Peabody Complex, parents, sponsors, wrestlers, and supporters were on hand to celebrate an incredible third year of wrestling in Dodge County. [Full Story »]
