The Dodge County Middle and High School archery teams attended the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky in May. The tournament was held at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
The high school archers attending were Blayre Durden, Michele Sheffield, Alicia Linzy,
Kaitlyn Pittman, Kelly Weathersbee, Chris Hightower, Justin Frost, Jud Taylor, Michael Phillips, Jay Cravey, Christian White, Tyler Belflower, Jake Stokes, Calen Dennis, Blake Woodard and Kyle May.
The middle school archers attending were Jadie Gay, Jennifer Smith, Taylor Thomas, Destiny Blizzard, Emily McEntyre, Joshua Peterson, Willis Tanner, Morgan Graham, Landon Martin, Bobby Butler, Jerald Gay, Trey Bowen, Corvon Parker, D.J. Sheffield, Jed White, Kain Kirkley, Tyler Gruben and Trey Pittman.
The coaches for this event were Ginny Tanner, Tony Taylor, Tom Cranford, Melani Roberts and Jerome Peterson.
The teams represented Dodge County with good standings in the NASP Program in scores and sportsmanship. The teams are changing lives one arrow at a time.
