We have lived in this country for 31 years. We left our country for security reasons. We became U.S. citizens in 1986.

We have three sons, born in the United States, and all three went to school in Georgia. Our oldest is an architect from Georgia Tech; he also did his masters at Tech, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. [Full Story »] 

Dear Editor,

I cannot think of anything that’s worth half doing. Failing must not become an option. When it comes to trust have we become a nation of people that can believe half of what we see and none of what we hear.

We all will be remembered for the problem that we solve or the problem that we created. Success is not about you but putting ahead of self possession, job, friends and even relatives. [Full Story »] 

Dear Fellow Georgian,

During the current state budget debate a proposal surfaced by the President of the University of Georgia to eliminate about half the county agents in the state, to close critical research facilities, to end the 4-H program in Georgia, basically gutting agricultural research and outreach in the state.

I am pretty certain he knew this would bring an uprising and did it ever. The agriculture community became energized. [Full Story »] 

Dear Editor:

The holy Bible is the one book that will sustain all of mankind.
It describes things that will lure one away from absolute commitment to Christ: suffering, temptation, doubts, fears, frustration and the teaching of others. People, we must be willing to face suffering and persecution. The Bible grows out of God’s love for us, shown in Christ’s death. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and the Omega. He once was dead but behold He is alive forever. One should not be afraid of dying when Christ holds the key to open and close death and hell. No matter what men do say or know, Christ will always have the last say so. False teaching in the church will lead the church from its devotion to Christ. Have we forgotten that we must repent? Faithfulness in death and overcoming false teaching leads to eternal life. [Full Story »]
