The chocolate brownie has been banned in Vermont’s public schools in favor of kale and gluten-free lemon bars. Source: Watchdog.org, writer Bruce Parker. Visualize the next bake sale in the Peoples’ Republic of Vermont without cupcakes, cookies and other such nourishing goodies. Vermont is the home of the avowed socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. Guess which side of the aisle Bernie sits on. At least he is honest enough to admit he’s a socialist, unlike the windbags in the media. The lamestream leftists in the media describe Bernie Sanders as an “Independent,” of course. Never say socialist, seldom say liberal. Both are turnoff words.
“Comrades! We must abolish the cult of the individual decisively, once and for all.”
Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev (1894-1971)
Hillary the Socialist in her own words: “We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.“
Hillary Clinton 2004
“Sounds like good commie talk, doesn’t it?”
“Don’t forget, before there was Obamacare there was Hillarycare. When it comes to socialized medicine, Obama just finished what Hillary started.”

John W. Lillpop is a great commentator (VoiceofLillpop.blogspot.com). I’ve never seen him on television (of course not!). He’s that good. If I had a talk show you would see a lot of new faces instead of Karl Rove and David Gergen types. Gergen makes me sick. I first came across John Lillpop on CanadaFreePress.com, also very good. You have to look a bit to find the good content and it usually isn’t on television. Think of how much better overrated Fox Network could be. I watch it less and less and don’t miss it at all. They are watering down the content. [Full Story »]
For the first time in more than 20 years, the Eastman City Council voted unanimously to raise their millage rate.
After discussions by the council on Monday, September 22, which included city manager Bea Edge telling the council that revenues for the city were down, councilman Bobby Slye made the motion to set the proposed millage at seven (7) mills. In previous years, the millage rate for the city has been six (6) mills. The motion was seconded by councilman Prince Dawson and was passed unanimously.
The extra mill will bring in approximately $110,000.00 in additional revenue for the city. In order to be able to raise the millage rate, the city is required to hold three (3) public hearings.
The public hearings will be held on Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. and at 5:00 p.m. at Eastman City Hall. [Full Story »]
After hearing Vice President Joe Biden’s asinine remarks that he swore in a speech a couple of weeks ago regarding terrorist in the Middle East, “We will follow you to the gates of hell,” for the Islamic State members who beheaded two journalist.
Mr. Biden rightly considered the terrorist actions barbaric. But if memory serves me correctly, “Old Joe,” has a blind spot about an equally barbaric action that he and that phony president/commander in chief Barrack Obama supports and encourages: abortion.
What difference is there between shoving a knife into the skull of an emerging baby during a late term abortion and what the Islamic State cretin monsters did to the unfortunate two American journalists and one Britton?
Vice President Biden seems confused. Well, one thing is not confusing, if Mr. Biden is a believer in the Old Testament of God’s word and how HE feels about abortion of babies, Joe following some monsters to hell may not just be a metaphor. [Full Story »]
