President Obama “normalizes” relations with Cuba, also known as a one-sided “grovel-in” and gets nothing in return from those Communist beasts. The hideous Castro brothers show no sign of easing their oppression of the Cuban people.

Attorney Judson Phillips, founder of Tea Party Nation, writing in The Washington Times, says Republicans should replace House Speaker John Boehner with Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. That would be a great move. We need a Speaker with backbone and she has it. As soon as the election was over, the pathetic Boehner went back to his old habit of trying to cut deals with Democrats. Marsha Blackburn is much sharper than that and would be a great change for real Republicans.
The Republican Party could be the only political party in history in which the leadership loathes the majotrity of party members and voters. What makes the Republican Party go is the widespread realization that the Demoleft is much worse. It’s a bizarre situation in which the Repub leadership tries to coddle the Demoleft while trashing its own conservative voters. Yes, the Beltway in-crowd likes the Demos more than their own voters.
Establishment Republicans do not like being challenged from the right side. Republican “lifers” know they have the huge advantage in donor money over their primary challengers.
