There is no need to die.
There is no need for a nation that has been so wonderfully blessed to die. I hope that Americans haven’t lost sight for the reason for celebrating Independence Day. This nation has gotten to the point that they are doing it on their own. There is nothing bigger than or too hard for God.
We are not a nation that believes that we can do as we please. While we are locking up the animals, we are letting the children run free. We must remember to love the God who loves all nations. Love is the most durable force on Earth. Too many of our children are growing up believing that life is an endless pain with a painful end.
Whether it’s Christmas, the celebration of the Christ child, Easter, His resurrection or the celebration of the birth of this nation, Americans are forgetting the real reason for such a celebration. Is there something wrong with a biological family of the same father and mother? Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, but where there are God fearing children that are created in His image.
There is strength in weakness and weakness in strength when we turn to our Lord and Savior. This nation is taking their eyes off the number one prize, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This nation must keep pressing on. She has come too far while walking by faith while ignoring her fears and leaving the past behind, knowing the future is near. If Americans will keep their eyes on the prize through Jesus Christ, they will make it to the end. We must remember that is was Peter who walked on the water, and as he stepped out of the boat and looked at the wind, he began to sink.
