A VDARE.com reader in suburban Illinois “would like to remind you that while you’re paying taxes, illegals are getting tax refunds for ‘dependents’ in Mexico.“ Some of our phony foreign friends who have never set foot in the USA get checks for the “Additional Child Tax Credit.” Actual tax returns have shown numerous families getting $10,000 or so through a program supposedly set up to keep working mothers at home. I always thought The Villages in Central Florida was a Republican stronghold, since Republican candidates make sure to campaign there, but the Democratic Club of The Villages has more than 700 members.
Watch out for a stacked deck in Republican Primaries. Wikipedia.org says that in 2008, John McCain did not win a single primary among registered Republicans up to Super Tuesday, but because of open primaries in which anyone could vote, won the nomination by Democrats voting for him in early Republican primaries, giving him the momentum. McCain, probably the weakest Republican running, went on to become the November Republican patsy the Democrats needed to run against. Many believe it was set up that way.
Obamacare and the Panama Canal betrayal of 1977 were two good examples of the political class knowing what was best for the public. Both were highly unpopular measures, which shows you what the inside D.C. class thinks of everyday Americans, the ones who pay for the cozy lifestyle of the political class.
