Basketball season continues for the Dodge County Middle School (DCMS) Warriors. The teams played four games over the past week. The Lady Warriors remained undefeated and the Warriors split four games.
The week began as the Warriors and the Lady Warriors hosted Toombs County. Let’s start with the girls’ game. This game was over in a hurry. Dodge would jump out to a 33 to zero lead at the half. Yes, it was a shutout at the half. The dreams of the shutout would end as Toombs hit a pair of free throws in the final minute of the third and Dodge coasted to a 41 to five final.
Here is a look at the Dodge scoring: Destanee Wright had 15 points; Nessia Mitchell, 14 points; Europe Brown, eight points; Precious Coleman, three points; Cheyenne Hunt, two points; Kylie Hunt, two points; and Lashauna Coley, one point.

At $4 billion spent on the midterm elections to win 435 House seats and 36 Senate seats, it comes to an average of $8.5 million per seat. The word billion is underrated and was a shock word a few years back. It’s still huge, as you can see, still 1,000 times 1,000,000 (a thousand times a million). Television and radio stations make big bucks on political ads. Runoffs are additional revenue, of course. Speaking of runoffs, bye Sen. Mary Landrieu.
Rabbi Steven Pruzansky says social parasites vote for a living rather than work for a living (2012 statement), more true each year.
Saira Blair, 18 year old Republican conservative University of West Virginia student has been elected to the W. Va. state legislature. She’s pro-life and low-tax. I’m guessing she’s pro-choice on light bulbs, also. That’s where all should be pro-choice: light bulb freedom. The old Edison cheapo bulb was one of the greatest inventions ever. Dollar Tree still has them at three for a dollar. I use cheap bulbs and seldom have one burn out. She’s the first Saira I’ve heard of.

Thanks to Matt Barber of Stone Mountain, Ga., my former neighbor across the street, for getting my ten year old computer working again. I’m not mechanically inclined.

Weirdo Minnesota sent Al Franken back for another six years after he stole the election in 2008. Notice I did not say he was reelected. You could say he was elected in 2014 for the first time.
