Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a bank robbery on Thursday morning, September 2 at the Citizens Bank and Trust (CB&T) Company in Chauncey. Two armed masked gunman accosted a bank employee entering the bank for work this morning to gain entry inside the bank.
Investigators from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office along with Agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating the armed robbery. There were no physical injuries to any of the employees during the robbery. The suspect’s fled the bank prior to any law enforcement arriving at the scene.
Law Enforcement Officials are following several leads in the case. No other information is being released at this time.
