Lady Indians Junior Varsity team wins first four games

Selph gave up zero hits and had two bases on ball and seven strikeouts. Leading hitters were Madison Mullis 1-for-2 with one run scored, Claire Peacock 1-for-1 with two runs scored, Sierra Brown 1-for-1 with one run scored and Blakelyn Bundick 1-for-2 with one run scored.

On Saturday, August 14, 2010 the Lady Indian Junior Varsity’s first game the day was against Camden County.

The Lady Indians had a seven run in the second inning putting them up 7-0. Camden would score two runs in the third and one more in the fifth making the final score Dodge seven and Camden County three.

Winning pitcher was Katie Selph. Leading hitters were Julia Burch 1-for-1, Blakelyn Bundick 1-for-3 with one run scored, Jasmine Goolsby 2-for-2 with one run scored, Davina Clark 1-for-2 and one run scored, Ashley Rowland 1-for-1 and Sierra Brown 1-for-2 with one run scored.
In the third game of the tournament Dodge County defeated Brantley County 3-2.

Winning pitcher was Ashley Rowland. Leading hitters were Ty Northcutt 1-for-2 with one run scored, Blakelyn Bundick 1-for-1, Claire Peacock 1-for-2, Madison Mullis 1-for-1 with one run scored and Julia Burch 1-for-1.

The Lady Indian Junior Varsity team played Jeff Davis on Thursday, August 19, 2010 and defeated them 7-4. Winning pitcher was Katie Selph.
