Dear editor,

I have seen awesome things happening in Eastman lately!

The Holy Spirit has been moving in the hearts of many adults, teens and children.

The gathering at the Magnolia Theatre recently called “Extreme Connection Weekend” was power filled!

The bands Consumed, Seven Times Covered and All Eyes East played with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Tears fell and lives were saved! Hearts were recreated.

There are no words to express the joy you receive in seeing young hearts recognizing Jesus as Lord!

Another power packed gathering came to the Boys and Girls Club this past Saturday night. “Impact” with guest speaker Tom Jackson. Bands playing were J.J. Weeks Band and the Hot House dance team. In 2 Corinthians 3:17 it says, “Now the Lord is the spirit; and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty and freedom!” Verse 16 says, “when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away!” Glory!

Healings, salvations, recreated hearts and freedom from bondage of various types took place that night. Miracles here in Eastman!

When God’s glory shows up, you can receive and grab hold of the freedom and have an experience that you will thirst for and crave forever more! No amount of drugs could ever fulfill this craving! I have seen revivals going on; God’s children gathering together and rejoicing!

This generation is being saved through God’s goodness and power! If you haven’t experienced this, then get around people that have and you will too! The church is waking up! Turn to God and experience things like never before!

I do believe that we are living in the last days and that God is bringing his people together and bringing those into the fold that hears his voice and obey whether they are young or old. It is good to hear that the young people at this event experienced the presence of God. When one experience the presence of God their is no other greater feeling (I can personally say) that one can feel. We look around us and see so many evil things happening upon the face of this earth but it is nice to know that God is still here for us but we must seek his face and when we do he will reveal himself to us. God never left us but man has turned away from God and I pray that many come back and learn that he is a forgiving God of sin and that it is never too late to ask for fogiveness while we have breath in our bodies. Christina as I read your article it brought tears to my eyes because I could actually feel what you are saying and all that you said is the truth so let us continue to pray that man will return to know God and his glory as we know it because it is a wonderful feeling. Man should take time out from his busy schedule to pray,read the bible, meditate upon God and obey his word then he will see a change in his life because without God we can do NOTHING on our own. WE ALL NEED GOD in our daily lives not just on Sunday he is not a God you can put on a shelf Monday through Saturday and pick him up on Sunday. God Bless!

YOU KNOW; WE ARE PILGRIMS IN THIS WORLD AND IT'S SOOTHING TO SEE OTHERS ON THE SAME PAGE!! I BELIEVE WE WILL SEE MORE OF GOD'S GLORY ARISING!!! WE MUST LOOK FOR IT AND BELIEVE:)

YOU'RE RIGHT, GOD CAN'T BE SUPPRESSED TO ONE DAY; WE MUST LIVE, MOVE, AND BREATH HIM! BEING A DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD CAUSES US TO EXPERIENCE HIM IN A WHOLE NEW LEVEL!!! HE TRULY DOES DRAW CLOSER TO US WHEN WE DRAW CLOSE TO HIM! HE LOVES US MORE THAN WE CAN EVER WRAP OUR MINDS AROUND! EVERY DAY I LEARN SOMETHING NEW ABOUT THE LOVE OF GOD! HE'S INFINENT! THERE'S NO END, SO WE WILL NEVER "KNOW IT ALL" THAT'S EXCITING TO FINALLY UNDERSTAND! I THANK GOD FOR MY SPIRITUAL MOTHER AND FATHER WHO HELD MY HAND WALKING ME TO THE ONE AND ONLY FATHER ABOVE ALL FATHERS! NOW I CAN WALK MY CHILDREN TO HIM IN THE SAME WAY! LITTLE BY LITTLE MY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER GREW AND CONTINUES TO GROW!!
OH HOW WONDERFUL OUR GOD IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE! IF ONLY ALL OF HIS CHILDREN WOULD HEAR WHAT HE IS SAYING TO THE BODY OF CHRIST!! GOD IS GOOD AND FOREVER MERCYFUL! GLORY TO GOD, I COULD WRITE OF HIS LOVE EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF MY DAYS ON EARTH:)
