The Dodge County Lady Indians softball team under the leadership of new head coach Tommy Adcock and assistants, Terry Evans and Paula Selph traveled to Waycross this past weekend to participate the Softball in the Swamp Tournament hosted by the Brantley County High School.
The Lady Indians opened up their 2010 campaign with three straight wins in tournament before the tournament was called to due to the weather.
Dodge defeated Wayne County 6-5 in a comeback win in the first game on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Indians then played back to back games on Saturday morning and defeated the host team Brantley County 9-0 in the first game and the Valdosta High Lady Wildcats 9-4 in the second game of the morning.
