Grisch Matthias Denmark (42), of Wesley, Florida, has turned himself in to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
Denmark, a civil IT employee with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Tampa, Florida office, has been charged with felony theft by taking.
According to the sheriff’s office, he allegedly stole a registered German short hair bird dog, valued at $850.00, from a property on Jim Ross Road.
Denmark was a member of a hunting club that leased property in Dodge County.
Dodge County deputies have arrested Willie Shivers (48), of Chester, and have charged him with felony theft by taking and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shivers allegedly stole some scrap metal from a residence on the Chester Road.
Dodge deputies have arrested Erika McCoy (39), and James McRae (41), both of McRae. The couple has been charged with burglaries of the Cofield and Linder Farms in Dodge County. Both have been charged with felony theft by taking. The sheriff’s office said that more arrests are pending in the burglaries.
I know Jeff personally, as an acquaintance, not a close friend. And I do honestly hope that he can stick to the convictions that he has demonstrated so far.
I follow what goes on in your county pretty closely, as I still have a lot of family there and visit regularly. I am also very close friends with some of the present and past members of the Police Dept. and the Sheriff's Dept. and it does sadden me to say that I have seen irregularities take place on more than one occasion. Believe me when I say I will continue to follow it closely.
