Fall kids baseball/softball league set

Chauncey will be hosting a fall baseball and softball league set to begin on September 11, 2010.

Registration will begin on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Chauncey City Hall.

Times for registration are Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The last day to register will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010.

The age divisions will be three to five year olds: t-ball; six to nine year olds: coach pitch; 10 to 14 year olds: pitching machine; 15 to 22 year olds and adults: slow pitch softball.

The Chauncey ball field was built in 1995 and Chauncey ball began in Spring 2010.

We had 117 kids play in our first season and the Chauncey Fire Department ran the concession stand. We would like to thank our sign and team sponsors for their support.

The Chauncey baseball/softball league will be working to raise money for new bleachers for the field. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. You can send donations to Chauncey Baseball/Softball League, P.O. Box 9, Chauncey, Georgia 31011
