Republican Senators voted four to one against left-winger Sonya Sotomayor for the Supreme Court while all Democrats voted in lockstep for her. Lindsey Graham, one of the media’s favorite Republicans, voted yes on So So. I’d like to see South Carolinians vote no on Senator Graham. He figures they will forget his vote in five years when he next runs for reelection. Guaranteed: he’d have voted the right way if he had to run next year.

Remember the Knoxville, Tennessee murders of two college students out on a date in January of 2007 by five monsters who apparently wanted to have a good time by killing a nice couple?
When I mention this case to people they usually are unaware. The media selectively reports stories and this one does not fit the media model as one worth mentioning to the public.
Finally the case is coming to trial as the first of five thugs went on trial Monday, August 17. You can find this grisly case on Knoxvillenews.com. The newspapers in Chattanooga and Knoxville have good coverage but once you leave the state the story is nowhere to be found. Don’t bother checking the media files for this one. They’d rather be framing innocent Duke lacrosse players
As the monsters are convicted, perhaps we will see the story on page 29 but it has been quashed so far by the major networks.
Angrywhitedude.com has good coverage of the trial’s beginnings. VDare.com, another good site, has been covering it since it happened, but the networks have it under wraps. I refuse to watch the big three network news, and haven’t watched for years.
