Dear editor,

The illegal immigrant problem is much like the oil spill in the gulf.

We have to stop the flow first.

We have to secure our borders before we do anything about those already here, otherwise, we will simply have even more to deal with.

Whatever problems Washington tries to deal with before securing the border will magnify by thousands the number of illegals that we will have to deal with later.

At this time there are over 3,000 acres of ground in Arizona where signs are posted and Americans are warned not to go because of the danger of encountering violence due to drug cartels and gangs. This is on our side of the border in Arizona, in the United States, and Mexican violence has taken over it.

I am in favor of protecting the United States border first and then the other problems. In my opinion, the democrats are wanting to let as many illegals in as possible and get their votes and do not give a hoot about our safety.

I think at this time in our economic woes, all illegals should be sent home and then after getting in line, apply to come here as guest workers. That is how most of the world works. Don’t they know terrorists are coming in through Mexico? Yes, that has been proven. Many buy a ticket to Mexico and then come here through the border.

Some People are very upset that illegals have invaded the soil of the USA. Now the USA are concerning about terroist crossing the border but they shoulda have secured the border a long time ago. A federal judge has block the majority of the law that would allow illegal to be deported and now one must wait and see how this is going to effect the law of Arizona. It is a sad situation for the children that born in USA it's not fair to them because they are american citizens since they were born in this country. Do we care about these children who parents might deported, there are so many issues to consider when it comes to the illegal ailens. They have done nothing to cause me harm so I really don't care if they stay. These same illegals have been considered to be good workers when it come to our food chain, they are hard worker and if they leave then who will take the job of making sure fresh food get to our dinner tables?
