If America is in a hole, she should stop digging. Just several days ago, all Americans were saying “God Bless America” when celebrating Independence Day, but I wonder if they have forgotten that God has blessed America for more than 230 years.
God is waiting for America to bless Him.
We speak of separation of church and state but, any nation that is not governed by its creator is headed to destruction.
As we look at the behavior of the republicans, the democrats and the citizens in various positions at all levels of government, one would have to wonder if we all are in it together as one nation.
If America is going to remain a strong nation we must honor two things, our Lord and the American soldier. War is hell but we only secure peace by preparing for war. We never fight the war that we prepare for.
Our Creator will bless all things for the good of those who love him. All through history is a series of past events, our Lord’s will, will be done. It is such a disgrace that so many Americans continue to sin before our Lord and Savior. Have Americans become afraid to step out on our Savior’s word? There was a time when Americans were praying individuals. It is because Americans have been so blessed that they have lost their spiritual soul while robbing our Savior of his glory.
If we look back over past history, the beginning of this nation, the war between the states, World War I, World War II and all those in between, Americans have undergone a blood bath. We do not have to grieve for the dead, for Christ died for our sins and we must die for our freedom.
It is our Lord and Savior who gives and takes away. There are two sides to the cross, death and resurrection. As we look at America today, one might say, she is not who she was. Americans should stop pointing the finger when there is plenty of blame to go around.
This nation may not be perfect, but there is no margin for error. The pain that this nation is going through should tell us something is wrong.
The real breakdown of this nation starts within the home and continues to become non-existent with two parents living in the same household. Same sex marriage is one of America’s greatest evils. Adding injury to insult, many of our churches have lost its spiritual soul. God created us to be original and yet we are willing to die a copy.
Although we have well qualified staff in our school system, they are leaving a lot to be desired, when they fail to discipline and hold our children accountable for their actions.
Corruption at all levels seems to be the order of the day. Too many Americans are craving a title but not the responsibility. They love to feel good without doing good. We have stopped being kind to others. When it comes to trust, our loyalty has reached an expiration.
At times we are using children for political purposes, when someone else is doing wrong that does not give us the right to do the same. Americans have found themselves sitting between sadness and madness. Wake up America, there is one thing that hasn’t changed, the Bible.
