Gresston Fire Chief Jay Brown was laid to rest with full firefighter honors on Wednesday, June 30.
Brown died of a heart attack while helping clear a fallen tree from a roadway after a storm.
Fire trucks and firefighters from many departments attended the funeral, as well as family, friends and others.
Ladder trucks cross the highway when the funeral procession headed to the cemetery.
Gresston firemen place Brown’s casket on a fire truck to be taken to the cemetery.
