Every time I see a man with a pit bull, I think what a coward and a loser. If someone is so insecure about himself and his masculinity and macho image that he can’t, or is too afraid to fight his own fight, that he has to put a poor, innocent animal in a ring to fight to make up for his own lack of machismo, there is something wrong with that man.
Making animals fight to prove what a big man he is, is a cowardly act and deserves to be called such. When young men see themselves and others about them that are doing this and realize they look like fraidy cats that can’t or won’t stand up for themselves, maybe they will stop abusing God’s creatures. If they want to fight, then they should be man enough to do it.

Pitt Bulls make wonderful pets despite their demonized history of abuse. It is a rather silly conclusion to make that any man walking his dog is fighting it too.
