School board qualifying begins

Qualifying for five Dodge County School Board began June 28 at 9:00 a.m. and will end July 2 at 12:00 noon.

School board seats are for representatives in Districts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7.

Incumbent school board members Dougie Martin, Rocky Stuckey, Neil Spradley, Shriley Ikedionwu and Betsy Thomas’ seats are up for election.

As of presstime on Tuesday, June 29, incumbent Douglas F. Martin had qualified in District 1.

In District 3, incumbent Rocky J. Stuckey has qualified.

No one has qualified in District 4.

In District 5, incumbent Neil Spradley and Mark Driggers have qualified.

Incumbent Shirley Randall Ikedionwu has qualified in District 7.

The qualifying fee is $117.00. Qualifying for school board seats is at the probate office located inside the Dodge County Courthouse.
