The humorless Biden called the man a “smarta- -” for suggesting lower taxes. What have I been saying about liberals’ hatred for tax cuts?
“Can you imagine the outcry from the media if Sarah Palin had been in the same situation and said the same thing Biden did? It would be front page news in every paper across the country, and the story would repeat at the top of every hour on CNN and MSNBC for at least a week.”

“It has long been common knowledge that Joe Biden is a buffoon, though not many on the left will admit to it publicly. Now he has proven that he is also a no-class jerk.”

Illegal Immigrant Cecil Harvey, who possesses a long rap sheet, has been awarded $145,000 by a federal judge for being kept in custody for longer than the two day limit for deportees. Harvey was held for more than a month because of a paperwork mix-up prior to his deportation to his native Barbados. Newspaper accounts I have read all omitted the name of the nitwit judge.
Harvey filed suit and found a sympathetic judge. He has a long history of various violations, including at least three prior arrests. How does an illegal have standing to sue? I can imagine what my law school professor, Dean Kilbride at Woodrow Wilson College of Law, a great conservative American, would say about it.
Examiner.com calls this case “Three strikes, you’re rich?”
The largest group of Americans is still those who don’t vote. Only about 54 percent of eligible voters bothered to vote in the 2000 election.
In 2004 the percentage rose only slightly yet a record 80 million eligible voters did not vote, a far greater number than the number of votes amassed by either Bush or Kerry.
The last time any Republican or Democrat has received as much as 30 percent of eligible voters was Ronald Reagan in 1980, says wikipedia.org.
Alaska’s voters figured out John McCain early on. McCain finished dead last in the Alaska Republican preference poll, behind Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul. McCain also opposes drilling in the Alaska wildlife region ANWR. Voters noticed this. Drilling in ANWR means jobs and McCain cares nothing about the welfare of oil industry workers and their families, obviously.
Most Republicans favor ANWR drilling but not pseudo-Repub John McCain. Of course, all Democrats in the Senate voted no on drilling. Next time you stop to fill your motorcar with exorbitantly-priced petrol, remember that.
Still, there’s nothing to worry about. Social Security has that Al Gore - Scrooge McDuck - style lockbox with your pension safely inside.
Gloria Browne, a lawyer who used to work for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama, told a reporter that the $PLC’s programs were designed to cash in on “black pain and white guilt.” Most donors to the organization are guilt-ridden whites.
Almost all of the leadership of the $PLC is composed of white males. A reporter asked founder Morris Dees if the organization needed an affirmative action policy. Dees replied that, “Probably the most discriminated people in America are white males when it comes to jobs.” For once, Dees was telling the truth, even though that wasn’t the case at his $PLC.
Well-known Atlanta anti-death penalty lawyer Millard Farmer used to work with Morris Dees and doesn’t care much for him today.
“He’s the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker of the civil rights movement, though I don’t mean to malign Jim and Tammy Faye,” says Mr. Farmer.

No group rights, says Dr. Ron Paul:
“All rights are individual. No rights are collective.”

In his 1991 autobiography, "A Season for Justice," Dees writes that in 1957 he ran for the Alabama State Assembly on the "States' Rights Democrat" platform. The States'Righters were a "segregation forever" party endorsed by Strom Thurmond's Dixiecrats.
In 1958, Dees becomes the Youth Coordinator for George Wallace's first gubernatorial campaign. Apparently, Dees thought it was important to get Wallace's ideas out to children, even though they couldn't vote.
In 1962, Dees defends Montgomery Klansman Claude Henley in AG Robert Kennedy's federal court. The previous year Henley led a mob of one hundred Klansman against a Greyhound bus carrying about a dozen black and white Freedom Riders.
Even though LIFE magazine published pictures of Henley in mid-rampage, Dees was sympathetic to the cause and offered to take the job for only $500 dollars. (Dees jacked his fee up to $5,000 when he heard that another lawyer wanted $15 grand to take the case). http://wp.me/pCLYZ-F
Henley walked out the courtroom scot-free, Dees, who was already a millionaire at the time, and didn't need the money, cashed the dirty check and Henley's victims got nothing, least of all justice.
Dees' law partner, Millard Fuller, (not to be confused with Millard Farmer), wrote in his autobiography that Henley's lawyer fees were paid by the Montgomery Klan and the local White Citizens' Council.
Some "icon".
And you're right, NOT ONE of the SPLC's top ten, highest paid executives is a minority, much less an immigrant. http://wp.me/pCLYZ-3r
While the SPLC displays a "diverse" Board of Directors on its website, including Julian Bond, all of the Directors, with the exception of SPLC Co-founder Joe Levin, are unpaid advisers with no impact on SPLC policy or personnel. It's nothing more than simple PR "brown-washing". http://wp.me/pCLYZ-p
The last "Whites only" sign in Montgomery hangs in the boardroom of the SPLC.
