Kid’s reeled them in at annual fishing rodeo

In the 11-15 year old category, first place went to Kallon Heisig, second place to Darius McRae and third place to Tristen Hardy.

If fishing wasn’t exactly your thing, there was great food and drink served up by the Mitchell VFD. The Dodge County High School Band offered face painting, hair painting and snow cones.

Thanks to Husqvarna of McRae for donating two lawn mowers again this year. Teresa Sheffield won the first one by having the lucky raffle ticket and a very surprised young lady won the other as a door prize.
