The first Mick Pruett Make a Wish Foundation softball tournament will be held on June 18-19, 2010. The location of the tournament has been relocated to Central City Park in Macon.
Upper and lower class divisions are planned with the upper class having a four to seven homerun bid and the lower having a one to three homerun bid.
A homerun derby will also be available with an entry fee of $10.00. The winner will receive an autographed Dale Murphy bat and a new bat.
Teams will be allowed to hit 44/375 core ball, which may also be purchased at the tournament.
Mick Pruett, an avid baseball fan and Dodge County native, passed away in December 2009.
