Juvenile charged with 13 counts of car break-ins

Rashes of car break-ins have been reported throughout Dodge County over the last two (2) weeks.

The thieves have been taking firearms, money, GPS devices and other items from unlocked vehicles parked at residences.

The break-ins have occurred in the Lakeview and North Lakes subdivisions outside of Eastman and also in the Rhine/Milan area.

Sheriff’s investigators have made an arrest in the Eastman area cases. Sheriff’s investigators have charged a fifteen (15) year old juvenile with thirteen (13) counts of entering an automobile. The break-ins on the south end of the county are not related to the Eastman case according to investigators.

The Rhine/Milan investigation is ongoing at this time with several leads in those cases.

Anyone with information on the car break-ins in the Rhine/Milan area is asked to contact the sheriff’s office. Sheriff Jeff Hinson reminds citizens to lock their vehicles at all times and report suspicious persons or vehicles to the sheriff’s office or 911.

On June 2, sheriff’s investigators arrested two (2) individuals, Quinton Joshua Sigers (age 23) and Angela Nichole Sigers (age 32) both Eastman, and charged each with burglary and felony theft by taking which occurred in the Gresston area.

On June 1, sheriff’s investigators arrested Justin Kevin Wild (age 28) of Dexter and Timothy Downey (age 24) and charged each with felony theft by taking. Wild and Downey allegedly stole some welding equipment from a barn located off of Jim Ross Road.

Sheriff’s investigators have arrested two (2) brothers from Coffee County in connection with a theft at a residence on the Hawkinsville Highway. Joshua Gaskins (age 29) of a Millwood address and Jeremy Eli Gaskins (age 26) were each charged with felony theft by taking in connection with the case.

Dodge sheriff narcotic investigators arrested Michael Bowen (age 38) of Eastman on June 8. Bowen is charged with possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute after on ongoing investigation.

Sheriff’s investigators arrested David Clair “Curly” Kuntz (age 62) of Eastman on June 4. Kuntz is charged with child molestation.

Good work officers. Now if the citizens only had a way to report to the law about things we know are going on. And know we are reporting it to someone we can trust. ( I remember the days of Doc Burnham's murder.)

Yes i remember those days Dalt & Georgia Kate Burnham were killed. it was terrible!

Thanks to officer Parker who took my report. Law enforcement you are doing a great job of solving crime and I am very postive the crime against me will result in me having a face to face meeting with the crook that stole from me.
