Check it out: amac.us. It has a magazine, insurance discounts and new services constantly being added. It’s the one talk host Mike Gallagher is advertising. Mike Gallagher: a good fellow.
It’s interesting that the “red state, blue state” political maps have the Demoleft Diversicrats in blue and the Republicans in red. They would not want to link the commie-coddling party with the color red, would they?

It’s even worse today, George.

Dick Morris explains how Democrats operate today: “Democratic members of Congress are only automatic votes for socialism.”
True! Just look at their votes on Obama’s socialized medicine. Every Democrat in the Senate voted for it; every Republican voted against it. Some will still try to tell you the two parties are alike. Those who say that are not paying attention.
It embarrasses me to hear establishment Republicans enthuse about some “conservative” Democrat they have just heard say something that sounded vaguely conservative (in search of votes). I remember former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough a couple of years back, before I flushed his MSNBC channel, calling Virginia Democrat Jim Webb (a big mistake by voters) “very conservative.”
Joe Scarborough should know better. Perhaps he was trying to fit in with his colleagues at MSNBC. Jim Webb completely sold out to the left. He had Al Gore, John Kerry and Bill Clinton out campaigning for him.
Al Gore is now available, ladies. He’s very wealthy, wears all the latest earthtones as suggested by his wardrobe designer, also. Al knows all the big players in D.C., his hometown. He was born in D.C.
They call it mission creep. Politicians pass a program and the bill always changes afterward. Once enacted, it grows and changes. It’s never quite what they claim it will be and is always considerably larger - expansive and expensive.
Forget the National Rifle Association. They like to cut deals with Democrats. They have endorsed liberal Democrat former Georgia Governor Roy Barnes in years past (he lost), donated heavily to Arlen Specter’s U.S. Senate campaigns (he finally lost), are cozy with Democrat Senator Harry Reid and recently endorsed another loser, John McCain for reelection. As the Duke basketball fans like to chant at opposing teams’ star players: Overrated ! That’s a good one word description of the NRA.
Months back, Gun Owners of America endorsed McCain’s Republican challenger J.D. Hayworth for the Senate in the August primary in Arizona. That’s gunowners.org. Another good gutsy gun rights group is Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (jpfo.org), a Wisconsin-based organization. They welcome members of all religious faiths as members. The NRA isn’t the only game in town.

I’ve always figured all members of Congress should have an information number. Many would rather you not know what they are pushing in Congress.
Now that World War II is over, the feds need to drop the withholding tax (a 1943 temporary wartime measure), as promised.
My e-mail address is marshallem40@comcast.net.
Thank you for pointing out that the withholding tax was a "temorary" tax dating back to 1943!
The government speaks a different variety of the English language than the citizenry. To them "temporary" or "emergency" tax always means "permanent and growing."
Actually anything with the term "tax" is considered permanent-
Keep in mind that the term "tax" has been replaced with "contributions" which has the notion of voluntary and optional about it for you or I....hmmmmm
I always liked what the great Joe Sobran once said : "Anything called a 'program' is unconstitutional."
Liberals love high taxes; they try not to show it during an election year. In 2004 there were nine Demos running for president at the beginning. All said they opposed tax cuts. One of the nine, Bob Graham, claimed the other eight were not sufficiently opposed to tax cuts. This shows you how they think. They're not your friends.
