Never let pollsters choose your nominee for you. They try to set the field in the primaries and then tell you how to vote for an “electable” candidate, such as John McCain. Why would you trust these people for accurate information on polls or anything else? Remember “frontrunners” Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Howard Dean?
Republican “centrists” can’t back up their claims:
“Since Wendell Willkie in 1940 every moderate-to-liberal Republican has claimed to be more ‘electable’ than his conservative rivals.”

A Boston bar is charging $500 for a season barstool to watch the Red Sox on television. I assume the drinks are not included. I would have reservations about paying $500 for a reservation.
“Money never starts an idea; it is the idea that starts the money.”

“If you owe the bank $100, that’s your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s the bank’s problem.”

A one-word description of Social Security: nonsustainable.
“Mexico will never ameliorate its condition if it thinks it can send its troubled souls to America.”

The Homeland Security Department claimed back in November 2006 that U.S. border security could cost $30 billion per year. That’s about what we spend on foreign aid (all illegal spending, not authorized by the U.S. Constitution). It’s all illegal and wasted spending, doing us no good. Remember, $30,000,000,000 per year is more than $82 million per day, every day.
In 2008 it was the two headed monster of the Demoleftists, the Barackocrats vs. the Hillarocrats, with the winner to face pathetic “moderate” Republican John McCain, a media-created candidate, an easy November win for the Democrats.
Writer Mike Bates (michaelmbates.com) calls H. Clinton and B. Obama “the pantsuit vs. the empty suit.”
“The best way to keep money in perspective is to have some.”
Louis Rukeyser, host of PBS’s Wall Street Week
Remember that show? I watched it regularly, one of very few television shows I watched. It was a good one, so good PBS dumped Louis Rukeyser and his show. I remember Paul Harvey complaining when the network dropped it and yes, I miss Paul Harvey.
Congressman Ron Paul’s toll-free weekly message is available at 1-888-322-1414. The printed version is at Texas Straight Talk on the Internet.
You’ll notice the media beating up on Ron’s son Dr. Rand Paul, an ophthalmologist, running for the U.S. Senate from Kentucky. That proves he’s a good candidate - he’s hated by the medialeft. Go Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, J.D. Hayworth 2010!
