The law will go into effect in August of this year. The law hopes to curb the flow of illegal immigrant people from crossing the border into Arizona. This flow of people has almost bankrupt the state. I have seen the governor of Arizona several times on TV where she said that she has written Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and others for help.
So far she has received no answer back. We have federal laws that deal with this problem. These laws are more severe than Arizona law. The federal law was asked to be repealed by the ACLU but was upheld by the Supreme Court by a 9-0 vote, and became law in 1979. A few days ago I saw our “Big Dog”, long-winded, smooth talking mulatto, and the Tin Horn president of Mexico in a joint speech in the rose garden before the press. After Obama’s usual long speech he really said nothing that made any sense, only to criticize the Arizona law. Next Tin Horn, after saying that he was grateful to be in the United States, lit into the Arizona law, ridiculing and criticizing it. After he ran out of breath and stopped, Obama thanked him for his remarks.
Obama then said they would take questions from the press, after two rehearsed questions to Obama, the meeting was over. To add insult, the next day Tin Horn spoke before a joint session of Congress in the House of Representatives. As usual, behind the podium sat Vice President Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. Tin Horn began speaking with the usual BS. Then he lit into the Arizona law when he said it would lead to racial profiling. When he said that, both the Vice President and Pelosi jumpd to their feet as well as more than two-thirds of the house stood and gave Tin Horn a two-minute standing applause (Unbelievable).
Folks, we are in serious trouble in this country. We will be taken over from within. I do not believe North Korea or Iran is our real problem, although they remain a great threat. I am not sure if we have other leadership that will take our country back, but I am hoping that we do.
Let me close with a speech I heard Senator Herman Talmadge of the Senate a few years back say, “It is time the United States quit trying to be the policeman and
Santa Clause to the whole world.” Senator, wherever you are, it is sad to say nothing has changed.
