The first Mick Pruett Make a Wish Foundation softball tournament will be held on June 19.2010 at the Southern Pines Softball Complex in Dublin.
Upper and lower class divisions are planned with the upper class having a four to seven homerun bid and the lower having a one to three homerun bid.
An entry fee of $250.00 will be collected with $500.00 paid to the first place teams in each division along with a trophy.
The top two teams in each class will receive a bat for most valuable player and a glove for best defensive player. The top three teams in each class will also receive a hat and shirt.
A homerun derby will also be available with an entry fee of $5.00. The winner will receive a camera donated by BestBuy in Dublin.
Mick Pruett, an avid baseball fan and Dodge County native, passed away in December 2009.
