Dear editor,
Now that you have graduated, what’s next? If you know where you want to go, do you know how you will get there? Are you willing to take the long way around just to get to a short distance?
Just remember, you were created original and you have been given the power to not accept life the way it came. Now you will have to press on to the end. You’ve come this far so you can’t just turn around. Now you must walk by faith while ignoring your fears leaving you past behind. Your future is near. Keep your eyes on the prize while staying focused.
You can make it to the end. Remember Peter who stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. As soon as he began to look at the wind, he began to sink. When Peter cried out for help, Jesus said why did you doubt me while giving into the wind? You’ve got to press on and stay focused, because you can make it to the hill. Just stay focused because it’s too late to turn around.
You do not need anyone’s permission to be human or to do the right thing. Your ability will get you to the top, but endurance will keep you there. Try to avoid doing something today that you will hate yourself for tomorrow. Avoid letting you life become like the wind. You can feel it, can’t see it and you don’t know where it’s going.
A great way for you to start each day is to just tell Jesus. “Lord, whatever you are doing in this season, please don’t let me forget about you. I know that whatever I start out to do each day, together you and I can accomplish it. For it’s with you that I can go for that one moment in time when I can become more than what I thought I could be.
That one moment in time when all my dreams are a heart beat away, for all the answers are left up to me through you.”
Amen and amen.
