In our busy and challenging lives we sometimes are guilty of taking things for granted, assuming that this is just a formality, or, oh, that’s his job, why do you think I paid you the fee you charged. Yes, our society is set up on a barter system. You pay, I perform.
But in this caste system we live in today, my family has been blessed with the encounter through the Eastman Medical Center, a provider that’s not just about money. And we know in these trying and difficult times, that can be a major factor. But we were the recipients of the upmost professional care. Most of all, the heartfelt compassion and love they showed for our family was most gracious and overwhelming.
With health care at a state of crisis, Dr. Pennington and her staff did not allow this to be a deterrent in going above and beyond duty. They reached out to the four corners of this county to assure service, personal care and support in alleviating the financial burden.
From the family of Water and Rozenia Gooch, we thank you for the care over our daughter.
Many thanks to the Commission of Commerce for allowing your practice in our city.
May the grace of God continue to richly bless the practice of the Eastman Medical Center and all those who practice there.
