“Play it down”, “Lift clean and place”, and “grounding” are terms that are learned while playing golf. Why are these terms brought to your attention?
Because, golf is the only sport that you call a penalty on yourself. If you don’t comply, you, as a player, report it on yourself. How cool is that?
For those of you that don’t know, DCHS has lost matches because of honesty. They have also won matches because of honesty. What an amazing sport!
Dodge County High School golf team placed third in the 14 team region game at the Region Golf Championships. Low men for Dodge were Michael Clardy with a score of 84 and Nathan Roland with a score of 97. Low women were Michelle Zhang with a score of 96, and Heather Yang with a score of 112.
