1. Children, listen to your father who begot you and do not despise your mother when she is old.
2. Let your father and mother be glad, let her who bore you be rejoiced.
3. My child, give me your heart and let your eyes observe my ways.
4. Children, apply your mind to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.
5. A wise child makes a glad father, but a foolish child despises their mother.
6. Grandchildren are the crowns of the aged and the glory of children is their parents.
7. Children, the fear of the Lord is a fountain of love.
8. Those who spare the rod hate their children but those who love them are delighted to discipline them.
9. The wise woman builds her house but the foolish tears it down with her hands.
10. A good wife is the crown of her husband but a wife who brings shame is like rottenness in the bonds.
11. Children, whosoever walks with the wise become wise but those who walk with the fool suffers.
12. Foolish children are a grief to their father and bitterness to their mother.
Happy Mother’s Day.
