In our continued beginning living, we continue to lose the two parent home as it is replaced with just plain old living together. Americans seem to love a title but they don’t want the responsibility. In a couple of weeks, we all will be celebrating and honoring the American soldier for the freedom that you and I are enjoying today.
Our greatest gratitude must be for our Lord and Savior. We must remember that freedom is not free, for there is a price to be paid. The American soldiers are the ones who have heard the call to duty and were not afraid to answer. They were the ones who left their homes to go and serve in places where they have never been before without knowing if they would return alive.
Look at what has happened to the two parent home, which our Lord and Savior has established. We are not raising God-fearing children created in his image. We no longer have children who are from the university of character.
Here is what we are seeing in America today. I am an American when the mood suites me. Many Americans want to feel good without doing good. We are losing this nation because violence has overcome society. Americans have developed a hunger that does not go beyond love.
Many, many Americans are out of balance because they have gotten comfortable with having or doing what makes them happy. They don’t accept the fact that one of the most important things in their lives is not what they get but what they give.
Americans are going for the cheapest things in life instead of the deeper things in live. Americans know it’s great to live a long life but I wonder if they lived well? Please, America, wake up. Stop living like the wind. You can feel it. You can’t see it and you don’t know where it’s going.
