Following distinguished Eastman-Dodge County Citizens, Bobby Schell has been named grand marshal of the 2015 Eastman Lions’ Club Christmas parade. Schell is a past president of the Lions Club, retired insurance agent, and former owner of Saunders, Stuckey and Mullis, Inc.
A resident of Eastman since 1963, his community knows him for his service. Among his accomplishments other than the Lions Club, he is a Mason and has served the Eastman Jaycees as president and held regional, state, and national offices in the Jaycees. He was a member of the Eastman City Council and a member of the
Dodge County Board of Education. He was the announcer for Dodge County High School football for 40 years.
He was the recipient of the Community Service Award from the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia and was named Distinguished Citizen of the Year by the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce.
