Qualifying has ended for the two seats that come up for election on the Dodge County Commission.

After last week’s newspaper deadline, Janice Bryan qualified as a Republican to run for the District 2 post.

She makes the sixth candidate to qualify and the third Republican.

The other two Republicans are Terry Niblett and Danny Howard Warren. Oliver C. “Pee Wee” Mann, Jesse Mincey and Raymond Yawn qualified as Democrats.

Incumbent Brian Watkins was the only candidate to qualify for the District 3 seat.

The General Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
