Dodge County, and all of the cities within the county, are behind the state average in returning their 2010 census forms.
According to the Georgia census website (www.census.georgia.gov), the state of Georgia, as of May 3, 2010, has a census form return of 70 percent.
Dodge County (not including the cities) has an average of 51 percent return of the people who have mailed in their census questionnaire.

I think the talleying of this will change, once the field census workers come into play. Some people might not understand how to fill a census form out and the bottom line is that they donot understand how important it is to their cities and counties and state,so we might get some federal assistance which is greatly needed at the time our economy is at a record low. I donot think one is being stubborn they simply donot know. I want a change I donot know about anyone else.

The census is very important. However it is a shame some people didn't receive a form in the mail. My family got a letter stating we would receive it in a few weeks the actual form. Never received the form but instead got a postcard belittling us for not returning the form, I tried to call the number listed to no avail. Have not seen a census worker as of yet. My oldest son did fill his out at ABAC College in Tipton. Concern citizen living outside Eastman City Limits in country.
