The Dodge County High School golf teams participated in the Region 3AA golf tournament last week.
The tournament was held at Rocky Creek Golf Club in Vidalia for both boys and girls.
The Dodge County girls finished in sixth place in the region and were led by Taylor Crane who shot a 118 (18 holes).
Other members of the Lady Indians team participating in the region tournament were Mindy Zhang and Shana Oxford.
The boys’ team finished fourth in the region, behind Vidalia, Bleckley, and Southeast Bulloch.
The Indians were led by Shawn Honeycutt who shot a 90 (18 holes).
Thomas Knight, Daniel Graham, Kevin Zhang, Brent Bundick and Bruce Hall also participated in the region tournament.
The golf teams were coached by Adam Turner this year.
