Editor,
On April 4 my husband and I were traveling back home to Atlanta. We were on the Eastman-Cochran Highway around 9:45 when a car passed us and ran off the shoulder of the road.
What has happened to our young people?

first and farmost to you mrs. barbara i am not sure to whom you are talking about being disrespectful but my daughter was one of those girls and i know that my daughter is very thankful for making it out of that car alive, and let me clear something up they was not drunk because they dont drink and just because someone goes around you or whatever it may be does not mean they were drunk! i am very grateful to GOD first and farmost because he is the reason that they are still alive today and i am thankful that your husband cut the yound lady out the car...so please accept that but at the same time please don't judge a person before you know what they really.

Your daughter may have been in the car, but it was my daughter's car. The girls failed to tell the truth about what really happpened. There was no deer in the road at all. I think that those girls should be grateful and thankful to God and to the man who pulled them out. I am not worried about the material things, God will blessed them in other ways.... However i hope to one day to meet with Ms Campbell and express my deepest gratitude to her and her husband..... Children take this life for granted and they must begin to realize that they are not immortal and should live like its is most precious.......

Parents should not get so defensive about their children actions. You cannot say your daughter doenot drink just because she doesnot do it in front of you. My children did somethings behind my back and thank God I was not quick to say they didnot because if I would have been defensive I might have missed somethings that I could help them with and this is not to say your daughter drinks this is only to point out to you about children's behaviour. Thank God all the children made it out of the accident alive and hopefully whatever caused this accident will be a lesson to follow them the rest of their lives, I am sure there was a mistake made here by the driver because of what the witness and her husband stated. Thank God the witness and her husband was on this road to be of help to the accident victims. God put them there at the right time, right place right time(God's timing). Life is all about God's timing not man's. God bless all!
