Indian and Lady Indian soccer teams continue to play tough

At the beginning of the second period, Lacie Kemp took a direct knee to her thigh while the foot was planted. Her injury removed her from the rest of the game.

The Lady Indians later tied the game with Kendall Adcock assisting Anna Mitchell scoring, but was called back for a hand ball. Strong defenders were Courtney Snelgrove, Shelby Rowland, Rachel King, Morgan Weeks, and Christian Smith. Kadayasha Jones played keeper defending the goal aggressively and throwing the ball to the forwards half way down the field.

The Lady Indians lost by a final score of 1-2. The opposing coach commented about our tough ladies mentioning Trina Gaulke and Danielle Rogers. The boys’ team also played a very fast paced and aggressive team with referees that made calls. Drew Bedsole and Seth Palmer received yellow cards for rule clarifications. Jake Ruffin scored our only goal and took a hard direct ball to the face that made him see spots. After being pulled from the game he later returned.

Defenders were Seth Palmer, Kaedon Rye, Mark McDermitt, Justin Hardin. Our strong mid fielders were Damion Fowler, Michael Wrease, Quinzuante Rolland, Walt Turner, and Kerry Gordon. Forwards that made drives and several attempts were Jordan Cook and Drew Bedsole.
