On Friday, March 26, 2010, Heart of Georgia Metal Crafters (HGMC) hosted a welcome, lunch, and open house to celebrate the opening of its 12,500 sq. ft. expansion project.
The chamber of commerce was on hand to celebrate with a ribbon cutting. Stephen Pritchett, general manager and CEO of HGMC, led tours through the newly expanded facility, while proud employees described their production roles, and spoke highly of HGMC. “This project is great news for our community.
It is a significant statement about the business climate of Dodge County and Georgia when companies like Heart of Georgia Metal Crafters reinvest in the community,” stated Eastman-Dodge County Area Chamber of Commerce President &CEO/Economic Developer Judy Madden.
The event was widely attended by community leaders, community members, and HGMC employees.
