The Dodge County Golf Club hosted their annual fall tournament in October. The tournament was held in memory of Randall Sanders and featured a great field of 19 teams. The teams were divided into three flights at the end of the 18-hole competition.
President Bob Butler opened the tournament with heart-felt comments about Sanders. Sanders’ wife, Marilynn and daughter, Jessica and other family members were on hand for the pre-tournament presentation of a beautiful memorial on number tee box.
The tournament began and Charles Boyett and grandson, Baxter Bradham won the shooting 63 in the two-person scramble format. Following closely behind, James Peacock and Charles Bryan, tied Roger and T.J. Mullis with a 64. Peacock and Bryan won second by regression.
The tournament concluded with the trophy presentation and a catered supper. The Dodge County Golf Club would like to express their deepest appreciation to the local businesses for their unending sponsorships of this tournament each year.
