No one injured

Charles David Wynn, Jr. was not injured when the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado C150 ended side ways in a ditch on U.S. Hwy. 117 Wednesday, March 17, 2010. According to the Georgia State Patrol report, Wynn was traveling south and was distracted by an electronic communication device (cell phone) when he failed to negotiate a curve, hit a utility pole and ended in a small creek. Wynn and a passenger, Krystal Danielle Dowdy left the scene but were apprehended by the Georgia State Patrol. The report stated that several citations were issued against Wynn and Dowdy. If one is going to drive while a cellphone distract them then they might as well be driving drunk. So all should ask themselves whether or not they are against drunk driving like I am. If so then please donot use your cellphone while driving, even handfree devices can distract a person because they get so engaged in their conversation. Many innocent lives are taken on the roads and highways these days at the hands of a distracted driver or a drunk driver. MADD(Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

I agree with you very much. Even a conversation being carried on with another passenger can cause a big distraction.
