PoliticalOutcast.com writer Chris Graham points out that the Republican 2012 turnout for Romney was three million short of John McCain’s numbers in 2008. Romney would’ve won the popular vote but maybe not the electoral vote if the three million had voted, Mr. Graham astutely points out.
Third party candidates in Florida cost Romney the state, which he lost in a close race, by 0.7 percentage points. Third party candidates took 0.9 percent of the vote in Florida. If those votes had gone to Romney, he’d have won Florida.
“If it were not for the Libertarians and people voting third-party on some mutation of a principle, then there would not currently be as big a perception that conservatism and libertarianism is so wildly unpopular when the other option is socialism.”

Some Republicans seem to think the path to success is to capture the Rachel Jentel vote. Remember her? She is sort of a female Alvin Greene (D - South Carolina), without Alvin’s sparkling personality and charisma. He’s still my favorite Demoleftist.

Big government vs. small citizen seems to be the philosophy of the ruling class, for our own good, of course.
Montana Hunters and Anglers sounds like a good group, but it’s actually a left-wing environmental group in bed with the Democrat Party in Montana. The group spent $1.2 million to help reelect liberal Democrat Senator Jon Tester last year. The front group encouraged voters to “vote for the real conservative” Libertarian candidate last year, pushing his vote total up to six percent or so of the total vote, enough to deny Republicans a Senate seat. Clever, aren’t they, also sneaky and dishonest, never telling voters who they were. The Libertarian Party is being used by the Democrats and they obviously do not care.
